About The Position
The Warehouse/Route Driver is responsible for the delivery of products to customers in a safe and timely manner. They will oversee loading and unloading goods from vehicles and verifying the quantities of goods received and dispatched. The successful candidate will also manage the warehouse and keep track of inventories. This involves organizing and storing products, as well as quality control and regular auditing. They must adhere to all safety protocols and conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure the safe operation of their assigned vehicle. We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely delivering products to customers, maintaining accurate inventory, and supporting daily warehouse operations. This position offers stability, hands-on work, and opportunities to grow your skills in a safety-focused environment.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Forklift certification (preferred)
- Strong attention to safety and adherence to all company protocols
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver products to customers along assigned routes, ensuring on-time and accurate deliveries.
- Load and unload goods from company vehicles, following proper handling and safety procedures.
- Verify quantities of goods received and dispatched, documenting all inventory movements accurately.
- Assist with warehouse operations, including organizing, storing, and performing quality checks on products.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and follow all safety protocols to ensure safe and compliant operation.
- Navigate routes using maps or GPS and maintain delivery records.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing questions or concerns while representing the company professionally.
- Support warehouse inventory audits and quality control processes.
- Operate material-handling equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks.
