As a Warehouse/Returns Associate, you will fulfill many duties that help our warehouse run smoothly. You will fill, package and ship orders in a timely manner while also ensuring product is received and handled correctly throughout its lifecycle through appropriate scheduling, communication and procedures. You will also handle the returns process for the branch. The warehouse team plays an important role in First Supply's success and has a passion for customer service. Requirements

  • Prior returns experience preferred
  • Good computer knowledge and skills and the ability to learn First Supply LLC's business system
  • Good organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work within a fast paced environment with multiple interruptions
  • Experience with handheld RF units (preferred)
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform the physical essential requirements of the job

Responsibilities

  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment in accordance with customer specifications and quality standards.
  • Assist with inventory control tasks including counting, restocking, and organizing products to ensure accurate stock levels.
  • Process incoming and outgoing shipments, including unloading trucks, inspecting goods, and verifying order accuracy.
  • Inspect products for damage and defects and report any issues to the supervisor.
  • Contact manufacturers for authorizations to return items.
  • File defective goods claims with reps/manufacturers as required.
  • Maintain records of return goods and ensure follow-through with vendors and customers.
  • Maintain the return goods area.
  • Operate various warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and other related documentation.
  • Follow all safety procedures and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
