About The Position

Catawba Two Kings Casino is seeking a Warehouse Receiver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, inspecting and recording all incoming goods and supplies for the casino property. This role ensures that products are accurately accounted for, property stored and delivered to the correct departments while maintaining compliance with inventory procedures and regulatory standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED, required.
  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience in warehouse receiving, required. Preferably in a hospitality or casino environment.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Catawba Gaming License as required by tribal and state authorities.
  • Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic computer skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing, using the English language.
  • Ability to work an alternate schedule as needed, to include nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to work in a loud fast-paced environment (may occasionally be exposed to secondhand cigarette smoke).
  • While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to reach with hands and arms; bend to open/use lower drawers or cabinetry; to talk, hear, and see. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and insect all incoming shipments for damage, quantity, and accuracy.
  • Compare packing slips to purchase orders and report discrepancies or damages.
  • Sort, tag and label merchandise for inventory tracking and proper storage.
  • Store items in designated warehouse areas and rotate stock as needed.
  • Prepare items for internal distribution and deliver to appropriate departments within the property.
  • Maintain organized and clean receiving and storage areas in accordance with health and safety regulations.
  • Assist with inventory control, including cycle counts and periodic audits.
  • Maintain accurate receiving logs, documentation, and records.
  • Communicate effectively with purchasing, accounting, and user departments regarding shipment status and delivery issues.
  • Follow all casino policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including those related to gaming and alcohol.
  • Operate warehouse equipment safely and report maintenance or safety issues promptly.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
