About The Position

Mity-Lite is a leading manufacturer of multi-purpose conference, banquet, and institutional furniture based in Orem, Utah. We have a need to add a warehouse receiver to our team. Come join our team! Current operations are first shift, Monday – Friday starting at 5am or 8am with overtime likely right now. The Mity-Lite Receiver oversees incoming receiving activities to ensure accurate receipts, put away, completeness and conditions of shipments. This person ensures workplace health safety requirements are met and take responsibility for the security of the building area. The Receiver helps plan the organization of raw materials within the warehouse and oversees projects to improve efficiency and inventory accuracy. A proactive approach is paramount. This person ensures productivity targets are met. He/she runs reports and maintains metrics surrounding these targets. He/she also maintains accurate records in the MRP system.

Requirements

  • Prior Forklift experience required

Responsibilities

  • Motivating, organizing, and encouraging teamwork within the workforce to ensure set metric targets are met
  • Communication with other departments, staff groups and customers
  • Overseeing receiving, applicable inventory control processes
  • Ensuring quality, delivery and budget objectives are met
  • Oversee the unloading of incoming materials, compare to PO and verify accuracy
  • Oversee the inspection of shipments for damage or defects, notifies purchasing
  • Ensuring the health, safety, cleanliness (5S) and security of the work environment
  • Delivering and fulfilling objectives and directions from the operation’s leadership
  • Responding to and dealing with Sales and Customer communication by email, fax and telephone
  • Responding to Operations, Sales and Customer issues related to quality of service they are receiving
