About The Position

Leo is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. Its mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet to customers and communities around the world, and we’ve designed the system with the capacity, flexibility, and performance to serve a wide range of customers, from individual households to schools, hospitals, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in locations without reliable connectivity. Candidates must be 18 years or older with the ability to understand and adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelines. The starting pay for this role in Washington State is up to $32.00/hour and employees are eligible for incremental raises based on tenure. A day in the life The Leo team is looking for warehouse planners to facilitate visual inventory management, collaborate and assist in process improvements. The ideal candidate has experience in SAP (S4Hanna) materials requirements planning (MRP) systems, has an understanding of business acumen and judgment, analytical abilities, written, verbal communication skills and awareness to various cross-functional organization inter-dependencies.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, or equivalent
  • 1+ years of using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze large sets of data experience
  • 1+ years in SAP (S4Hanna)
  • 1+ year in supply chain, operations, warehousing, inventory control or related experience
  • Able to lift up to 49 pounds
  • Able to stand/walk for up to 10 hours
  • Be comfortable with ambiguity and curious to learn new skills
  • Curious to learn in depth about both technology and our customers
  • A curious self-starter with a proven track record of diving into unknown territory, learning new concepts, and pushing your comfort zone

Responsibilities

  • Use proprietary software and ERP systems to virtually complete warehouse tasks and movement of parts
  • Verify all materials are packaged/bagged and tagged for hand off to the production floor
  • Document system issues, process flaws and inefficiencies
  • Communicate with quality control, purchasing and other related departments to resolve problems
  • Assist in managing shortages for clear to kit availability and floor stock replenishment
  • Continuous improvement to streamline and improve results of stock availability
  • Identify and resolve data quality issues
  • Exhibit a constant passion for delivering an exceptional customer experience
  • Prepare and provide data driven reviews to management
  • Willing to work all shifts, including evenings and weekends, depending on business needs
