Job Summary: The Warehouse Operator is responsible for maintaining all daily production and shipping to meet Logistics requirements. Other related duties as assigned by the assistance distribution Centre Manager.

Requirements

  • High School diploma/GED
  • Basic computer skills, to operate scanners and label machine.
  • Must be able to operate a forklift and/or picker.

Responsibilities

  • Must be able to maintain appropriate housekeeping requirements per assigned areas.
  • Ensure all product that is left on the dock is returned back to their proper locations.
  • Make sure all orders are complete for LTL’s(less than a truck) wrapped and ready to be loaded. Once completed also assist with full truck load orders.
  • All shipping employees are responsible to make sure all pallets are wrapped and loaded on their specific trucks.
  • Must be able to receive daily production and stock in appropriate bins as required.
  • Must be able to maintain daily cycle counts per assigned area for inventory control and participate in full counts
  • Abide by safety rules and regulations such as wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (safety glasses and safety harness)
  • Will operate a forklift and order picker.
  • Ensure that all appropriate shipping materials are maintained at proper levels.
  • Ensure that all returns are processed per specified procedures.
  • Must be able to assist with tints and dumps when needed.
  • Will be crossed trained in tinting and dumps and repacks.
