About The Position

Join MAPEI Corporation, a global leader in manufacturing construction chemicals and building materials — including adhesives, sealants, and specialty products used in flooring, tile, and concrete restoration. We are currently seeking a Warehouse Operator Lead to join our operations team. This role serves as a working lead within the warehouse, supporting daily shipping and receiving activities while guiding and training Warehouse Operators. The Warehouse Operator Lead plays a key role in ensuring accuracy, safety, and efficiency across distribution processes while upholding MAPEI’s high quality and compliance standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics environment preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. independently; and up to 100 lbs. with assistance.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility for overtime and shift hours as required.

Nice To Haves

  • Forklift certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily warehouse operations by coordinating shipping, receiving, picking, staging, and material handling activities to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and safety.
  • Verify inbound and outbound shipments by reviewing Bills of Lading, pick tickets, and related documentation; prepare and validate shipping paperwork.
  • Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, load, unload, and store finished goods and raw materials.
  • Train and support Warehouse Operator I and II team members, providing guidance on procedures, safety standards, and quality expectations.
  • Monitor warehouse conditions and inventory accuracy; promptly communicate discrepancies, quality concerns, or safety issues to management.
  • Perform assigned tasks in conformance with procedures and instructions established in the Business Management System (BMS) and in compliance with applicable Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) regulatory requirements.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
