Requirements

  • Previous warehouse or distribution experience preferred
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work to deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexible approach to working hours – there will be requirements to work overtime some evenings
  • Ability to lift and move heavy items safely
  • Standing, walking and manual handling throughout shifts
  • Experience using handheld devices and scanners in a warehouse environment

Responsibilities

  • Pick, pack and prepare customer orders for dispatch in line with company procedures
  • Load vehicles safely and efficiently, ensuring correct handling of goods
  • Check outgoing goods against delivery notes and orders for accuracy
  • Label, wrap and stage items appropriately for transport
  • Operate warehouse equipment (e.g. pallet trucks, forklifts where licensed)
  • Work closely with internal teams to meet deadlines
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
  • Follow all health and safety procedures, including manual handling guidelines
  • Report damages, discrepancies, or issues promptly to supervisors
