About The Position

A Warehouse Operative is a resilient and team-minded individual responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient flow of materials throughout the manufacturing process and preparing finished products for shipment.

Requirements

• Forklift experience.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with team members and management.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management tasks.
• Strong attention to detail to maintain accurate inventory records and ensure safe material handling.

Nice To Haves

• Prior relevant experience in a warehouse/factory environment.
• Forklift certification.
• Knowledge of inventory control procedures.
• Overhead crane experience.
• Familiarity with materials used in the steel building industry.

Responsibilities

• Collecting and transporting materials safely within the factory.
• Receiving and documenting materials into inventory.
• Issuing materials to various departments on the factory floor.
• Preparing orders by processing requests, pulling materials, packaging boxes, and placing orders in staging areas.
• Final preparation of finished products for shipment.
• Adhering to all safety rules, best practices, and company standards.
• Performing other related duties as assigned.
