About The Position

Iron Mountain is seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to join our Warehouse & Logistics team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operational functions in the most cost-effective manner while ensuring we meet the needs of both internal and external customers . You will lead, inspire, and drive operational excellence at the facility, reporting directly to the Operations Manager.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse or logistics leadership, with specific experience in warehouse fulfillment or e-commerce management (onsite ordering, picking, packing, and shipping).
  • Strong knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and skills in monitoring daily production goals to dynamically meet company Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Proven ability in resolving conflicts, managing team dynamics, and maintaining effective working relationships with co-workers and other business areas.
  • Physical requirements lifting at least 40 lbs, with a willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends as needed, in environments with varying temperatures and noise levels. Frequent walking, carrying, reaching, standing, and stooping. Note: After an offer is accepted, all selected applicants must successfully complete a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily operational functions by managing incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining accurate warehouse inventory, and developing production schedules to ensure the timely completion of all job assignments.
  • Collaborate with direct reports and other business areas to provide supervision, training, and performance feedback, while addressing employee issues and fostering open communication across all levels of the organization.
  • Ensure operational excellence by monitoring activity (including sales and record control), tracking performance against organizational objectives, and maintaining productivity, safety standards, quality control, and cost-efficiency measures.
