Warehouse Operations Supervisor - JLL What this job involves: The Warehouse Operations Supervisor will manage and oversee all activities related to shipping/receiving, storing, delivering, transferring, reconciling, and cycle counting materials per cGMP procedures and regulations, within multiple systems and/or between multiple sites. a hospitality mindset is fundamental to delivering exceptional workplace experiences for our client. What your day-to-day will look like: Supervise various critical warehouse operations by leading the warehouse operations team, leading operations ramp up strategy & execution, and lead tactical & long-term strategic initiatives to drive production readiness & ramp-up. Drive a safe workplace culture, ensuring safety & environmental requirements are met. Ensures that materials are received, stored, and distributed according to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Good Distribution Practices (GDP) and other applicable regulations and specifications. Supervise daily plan to exceed expectations for productivity, accuracy, and quality compliance. Ensures GMP activities follow approved GMP procedures and are documented according to cGMP and/or GDP requirements. Will also execute these GMP tasks as needed. Responsible for ensuring that risks are identified, assessed, and corrected to ensure the safety, purity, quality, and effectiveness of the product(s) manufactured. Ensures that staff complete all required training prior to performing assigned GMP activities. Ensures that non-conformances for areas of responsibility are reported promptly to the Quality unit and investigated per procedures. Ensures all areas and staff are prepared for regulatory audits and inspections. Supports Continuous Improvement initiatives, programs, and projects. Uses Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Power Point, Project to update metrics and present information.

Requirements

Associate’s degree and 2 years of Warehouse Supervision and/or Material Handling experience OR 4 years in a technical school setting with hands-on experience OR High school diploma / GED and 6 years of Warehouse Supervision and/or Material Handling experience.

Nice To Haves

Experience working in a warehouse environment (pharmaceuticals or biotechnology)
Basic knowledge of warehouse inventory management, SAP and Microsoft Office
Understand and carry out to Department of Transportation (DOT) and international shipping requirements (IATA)
Understanding of Good Distribution Practices
Knowledgeable of Cold Chain distribution requirement
Ability to operate a forklift or other powered industrial vehicle
Possess and exhibit excellent attention to detail
