The Warehouse Operations Supervisor coordinates daily activities within the distribution center, supervises staff and directs work related to order fulfillment, inventory management, material handling, and equipment usage. This role involves preparing work schedules, managing labor hours, interviewing and training new team members, appraising performance, and resolving problems. The supervisor ensures the team understands and works towards performance goals, recommends process improvements, reviews records for accuracy and compliance, and ensures adherence to company and customer policies, including safety. Additional duties include scheduling inventories, tracing discrepancies, assigning duties, standardizing procedures for efficiency, preparing reports for leadership, assisting in maintaining warehouse properties, and submitting billing information.
