About The Position

Are you someone that is detailed and looking for a career? Our Colonial team is looking to add members who are motivated, flexible to change, and team oriented. Our Warehouse Associates are responsible for the accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders. This position will be cross-trained in our warehouse logistics process including: Zone Specialist, Packing, Staging, and Wire Cutting. Must be flexible to rotate into any of the positions as necessary.

Requirements

Basic computer skills
Age: 18 years or older
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to be on your feet for the majority of the shift
Must be detail oriented with basic math skills
Must be able to work with limited supervision
Must be able to work with team members in a fast-paced environment
Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions

Responsibilities

Pick orders using scan technology and place on conveyor belt for delivery to packing/staging area
Perform any required shelf maintenance and ensure 100% accuracy of assigned zone
Perform any required inventory replenishment
Double check customer order for accuracy
Pack items for delivery to be sent to the staging area
Place customer order in delivery queue depending on order destination
Correctly select items for orders
Feed wire onto foot shear to cut wire to desired lengths
Maintains knowledge of all policies and procedures and understands that safety is a number one priority
Performs maintenance and housekeeping duties as assigned
Operate machinery to maneuver product (Pallet Jack, Counter Balance, Forklift)
Miscellaneous assignments as required by management
Ensuring the complete physical safety of oneself and one’s co-workers at all times without exception
