About The Position

SUMMARY:Responsible for deliveries of retail and warehouse products and supplies to all the Resort outlets as per daily schedule. Unload and load trucks. Drive truck or van as needed to make deliveries or pick-ups. Assist with shipping and receiving, assist in checking in product from suppliers. Assist with all warehouse functions when not making deliveries. Maintain storeroom for cleanliness. Assist with the counting of the warehouse inventory per accounting schedule, assist in putting up stock and issuing items from inventory. Must have a valid driver’s license and knowledge to drive a straight, boxed in truck and van. Forklift knowledge is not required but training will be available. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) and a minimum of 3 months related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: This position involves driving a company vehicle and/or company insured vehicle. A valid driver’s license is required, along with successful completion of a pre-employment Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) and annual MVRs, according to company guidelines. Follow safe, defensive driving practices at all times, obey all traffic laws, regulations, signals and markings, use a seat belt, and follow Company policies and procedures, including the Substance Abuse Policy. Never drive while under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medications that may impair your ability to operate a vehicle safely, report any accidents immediately and cooperate fully with insurance claims investigations. Apply knowledge learned daily to the operational needs of the warehouse.Responsible for maintaining supplies in a clean and organized manner.Basic understanding of EATEC functions.Assist with period end warehouse inventory.Fill all requisitions that have been submitted by resort outlets.Confirm order details such as EATEC and retail items to stage for the correct resort dept location.Assist with checking in and putting retail and warehouse product and supplies away per established deliveries.Recieve warehouse product and put in storage boxes or on shelves.Make deliveries and pickups of product and supplies per established schedule.Communicate any issues with supervisor that may affect operations.Weekly inspection form/checklist for vans.Keep van secured except loading and unloading.Open and close as scheduled.Good work ethic to ensure safety measures and provide efficiency in a professional manner.Standardize processes like recieving, storage and shipping to reduce errors and improve operational responsibilities.Adhere to the driver safety policy.Physical abilities to regularly lift or move up to 80 lbs effeciently.Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out verbal or written instructions.Having the ability to problem solve in standardized situations.
