About The Position

The Logistics Operations Driver is responsible for safely operating company vehicles to transport food, supplies, and materials between JRK locations. This role ensures timely, accurate, and secure pickup and delivery of items while maintaining high service standards and representing JRK professionally.

Requirements

  • Must be able to sit for extended periods while driving.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, crouch, and lift as needed.
  • Must be able to lift, carry, and transport up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to use both hands to reach, grasp, handle, and operate vehicle controls.
  • Must be able to hear, speak, and see clearly (near and far vision).
  • Must be comfortable working in various weather conditions during loading/unloading.
  • Must be able to work around food items and supplies of different types.
  • Must be willing to travel frequently between JRK properties and vendor sites.
  • Interpret documents such as safety rules, driving procedures, delivery protocols, and employee handbook materials.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with supervisors and team members.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, courtesy, and a customer‑service mindset at all times.
  • Hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

  • Previous driving, delivery, or logistics experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Always maintain a respectful and helpful attitude with team members and partners.
  • Adhere to JRK service, safety, and grooming standards.
  • Safely operate assigned company vehicles, including vans, box trucks, or other approved vehicles.
  • Pick up and deliver food, supplies, equipment, and miscellaneous items between various JRK locations and vendors.
  • Ensure all transported items are properly secured, protected, and documented.
  • Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections (fuel levels, tire condition, cleanliness, etc.).
  • Report any vehicle issues, maintenance needs, safety concerns, or incidents to the supervisor immediately.
  • Follow all traffic laws, JRK safety procedures, and DOT/OSHA guidelines relevant to the role.
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and any required documentation.
  • Use assigned communication devices (radio/phone) to coordinate with supervisors and team members.
  • Assist with loading and unloading materials; operate carts, dollies, or other equipment as needed.
  • Keep vehicle interiors and cargo areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
  • Ensure pickup locations are left in a clean condition after loading.
  • Support special logistics projects or urgent requests as needed.
