About The Position

This position is primarily responsible for the accurate and timely movement of goods to and from the warehouse, the preparation of goods for shipment and the processing of goods being received, and the purchase and procurement of a variety of materials, supplies and equipment used by the Company all while providing a superior level of customer service and maintaining the integrity of the electronic inventory records. The anticipated pay range for this position is $22 to $25.

Requirements

2-4 years related experience.

Nice To Haves

2-year degree preferred.
Certification by a national purchasing organization desirable.

Responsibilities

Maintain a working relationship with sales and service.
Reads customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed.
Conveys materials and items from receiving areas to storage or to other designated areas by hand or by hand truck.
Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined storage location, or assigns/re-assigns location as necessary.
Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to staging area or to requisitioner.
