About The Position

You'll own everything that makes a job physically ready to start. When crews arrive on site, materials are accurate, staged, delivered, and accounted for—no missing product, no last-minute scrambling, no chaos in the shop. We serve high-end residential clients where mistakes are expensive and professionalism matters. This role protects our margins, schedules, and reputation by running a tight, organized operation behind the scenes.

Requirements

  • Ability to lift to 50 lbs regularly
  • Comfortable with standing, bending, and moving throughout the day
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle stress and adapt when priorities shift

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in warehouse, logistics, construction, or flooring
  • Purchasing or inventory management background
  • Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one
  • Familiarity with inventory or job management software

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate inventory counts, locations, and job allocations
  • Receive, inspect, and log all incoming materials
  • Stage materials by project—labeled, inspected, and load-ready
  • Perform routine inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies
  • Monitor reorder points and flag shortages before they impact jobs
  • Keep the warehouse clean, efficient, and safe
  • Create and manage purchase orders tied to specific projects
  • Coordinate inbound deliveries with suppliers and carriers
  • Track shipments and resolve damages, delays, or shortages
  • Align delivery timing with production schedules and shop capacity
  • Maintain shop organization, cleanliness, and safety standards
  • Operate forklift and move materials safely (we'll train you if needed)
  • Coordinate basic equipment and vehicle maintenance
  • Ensure tools, racks, and storage systems stay functional and orderly
  • Coordinate material loading and delivery schedules
  • Ensure trucks are loaded accurately and efficiently
  • Communicate material readiness to the Project Coordinator and field crews
  • Troubleshoot material or logistics issues during active jobs
  • Improve inventory systems, staging flow, and shop efficiency
  • Document procedures for receiving, staging, loading, and auditing
  • Report on inventory health, shortages, and job readiness
