About The Position

As our Warehouse Manager (m/f/d), you will take ownership of our warehouse operations in Springfield, Ohio. You will ensure that all processes—from receiving and inventory management to picking, packing, and shipping—run smoothly and efficiently, while continuously improving our logistics setup. This includes planning, hands-on execution, establishing new processes, and—in the next step—guiding and building a small team on-site. In addition to classic warehouse management, this role includes technical responsibility for selected product-related processes and close coordination with our headquarters in Germany.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of hands-on warehouse experience, ideally with independent responsibility
  • Experience guiding or supervising team members
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and warehouse safety standards
  • Strong operational experience in receiving, picking, shipping, and inventory processes
  • Proficiency with warehouse management systems and basic IT tools
  • Forklift experience or willingness to obtain US certification
  • Reliable, structured, and self-directed work style
  • Strong English communication skills
  • Strong technical understanding and the ability to grasp product-related and process-related technical requirements
  • Willingness to take ownership of technically sensitive warehouse processes after structured training

  • Experience setting up new warehouse structures or supporting facility relocations
  • Background in production or manufacturing logistics

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, record, and store inbound goods
  • Pick, pack, and prepare outbound shipments
  • Maintain inventory accuracy, conduct cycle counts, and document adjustments
  • Coordinate transportation and communicate with suppliers and carriers
  • Ensure a clean, structured, and OSHA-compliant warehouse environment
  • Collaborate closely with the US Sales Team and our headquarters in Germany
  • Support the development of improved processes and warehouse structures
  • Contribute to layout optimization, material flow planning, and efficiency improvements
  • Assist in selecting, onboarding, and training new employees
  • Establish stable operations
  • Ensure a smooth transition of all warehouse processes
  • Build scalable, reliable structures for the warehouse setup
  • Take responsibility for the refreshment and reconditioning process of our cooling products after dedicated training
  • Supervise and guide trained warehouse employees performing refreshment activities, ensuring correct execution, process stability, and quality standards
  • Act as the primary operational and technical point of contact for our headquarters in Germany – especially for updates, clarifications, and process-related questions – in close coordination with Markus K.
