About The Position
The Warehouse Manager will handle the daily operations of the warehouse in three locations. The daily duties will include but not limited to; freight, shipping and receiving, inventory counts, returns and transfers. The successful candidate will maintain high levels of accuracy in day-to-day operations, lead and develop warehouse initiatives, and provide good customer service to our internal and external customers. Requirements
- Strong organizational, time-management, trouble shooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Must be able to work with little supervision
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background investigation
- 3+ years of warehouse experience; including lead/supervisory experience
- Proven knowledge of warehouse policies and procedures
- Able to work with all levels of staff
- Proven knowledge of MS Office and computers
Nice To Haves
- Associates or Higher Degree preferred
- Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems preferred
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily activities of the warehouse at two locations, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, shipping, receiving and customer service
- Communicate inventory levels to staff and sales force
- Monitor and improve shipping procedures to maximize shipping effectiveness and efficiency
- Inspect condition of tools and equipment
- Perform general maintenance of machinery used in the warehouse
- Follow all company rules and regulations
- Ensure a high degree of detail and focus on every job
- Manage the RMA process, including obtaining the shipping label, etc.
- Auditing the warehouse
- Maintaining min/max levels
- Maintains a clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat
- Wear the proper safety equipment
- Follow safe and secure practices to safeguard against injury, damage to property and protect confidential information
- Other duties as assigned
