About The Position

Responsible for overall supervision and operations of warehouses to support Carlsbad, NM mining operations, by directing receiving, warehousing and distribution of parts and materials.
Essential Functions
Coaches, counsels, disciplines, and monitors actions & performance of warehouse personnel.
Maintains warehousing operations by initiating, coordinating and enforcing operational programs, policies and procedures.
Implements and reviews key performance metrics for warehousing operations.
Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
Ensures inventory accuracy by conducting scheduled inventory cycle counts and wall to wall physical counts.
Monitors, administrates and conducts safety training of warehouse employees.
Participates in achieving company financial goals by preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances and initiating corrective actions.
Investigates and reports on all safety and environmental incidents that occur.
Designs warehousing reports.
Troubleshoots remedies issues arising within or from warehouses.
Assists in warehouses day to day operations as needed.
Determines if work areas are safe.
Observes and enforces all safety and company rules.
