About The Position

We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Warehouse Manager to join our team in Pittsburgh, United States. The ideal candidate will oversee all warehouse operations, ensuring smooth inventory management, order fulfillment, and team coordination.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required; bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field preferred
  • Proven experience (3-5 years) in warehouse management or similar role
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in warehouse management software and inventory control systems
  • In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, supply chain processes, and industry best practices
  • Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification
  • Solid understanding of safety regulations and OSHA standards
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills for inventory management and reporting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly, with occasional lifting of up to 100 lbs
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong work ethic and ability to motivate team members
  • ability to manually move and lift 50 to 100 lb. boxes of tile on a regular basis and have the flexibility to work nights and weekends within a team rotation.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and shipping processes
  • Supervise and lead a team of warehouse staff, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations
  • Implement and maintain inventory control systems to ensure accurate stock levels and minimize discrepancies
  • Coordinate with other departments to streamline supply chain processes and improve efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
  • Analyze warehouse metrics and implement process improvements to enhance productivity
  • Oversee equipment maintenance and facility upkeep
  • Manage relationships with vendors, carriers, and other external partners
  • Participate in budget planning and cost control measures for warehouse operations
  • Utilize warehouse management software to track inventory, generate reports, and optimize workflows
  • Helping oversee the warehouse at the store itself.
  • Preparing packing and shipping documents.
  • Picking and staging outbound shipments.
  • Ensuring inbound & outbound shipments are accurate & damage-free.
  • Maintaining a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
