DH Pace Company, Inc. aspires to hire an experienced Warehouse Manager in Nashville, TN who has a proven track record of being proactive and hands on. Position Overview: Comply with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by staying abreast of existing and new legislation. Will advise senior management on necessary actions and/or proposed policy and process changes and will enforce adherence to requirements by warehouse personnel. Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols Purchase materials and control inventory levels. Conduct physical cycle counts and reconcile inventory with our various materials management systems (ERP system included). Maintain physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts as necessary. Inspect equipment, issue work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement as needed and ensure safety is at top of mind by anyone in or near our warehouse facilities. Achieve financial objectives by preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions Complete daily and weekly warehouse operational requirement Pull and/or monitor internal and external customer orders and notify customers of status and inform them if product is out of stock and/or discontinued and recommend alternative solutions Interact with customers by phone and/or in-person and ensure their multiple order information is correctly processed. Personally work on special order jobs ensuring a high degree of accuracy and customer retention. Other responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience managing receiving, warehousing, materials management, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures
  • Possess an ability for technical software and applications: warehousing, material management and mechanical systems
  • Ability to safely lift 100 pounds
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Driver’s license required
