About The Position
Renewal by Andersen of Eastern NY has been expanding rapidly and we are looking to grow again! In order to accomplish our goal, we need to hire an experienced Warehouse Manager with a vision for detail at our on site location. What Success Looks Like: Previous progressive warehouse management experience. Well-rounded professional with a strong work ethic, mechanically inclined, excellent communication skills, and strong attention to detail.
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License (Required)
- Knowledge in all aspects of receiving, storing, and delivering items while working alone or in teams with minimal supervision.
- Experience working with vendors – strong communication skills.
- Proven management experience
- Experience driving a box truck and operating a forklift
Nice To Haves
- Construction background a plus!
Responsibilities
- Maintains storage area by organizing floor space, adhering to storage design principles, and recommending improvements.
- Maintains inventory by conducting monthly physical counts, reconciling variances, and inputting data.
- Keeps equipment operating by enforcing operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, conducting preventive maintenance, and calling for repairs.
- Manage building materials, deficiency reporting, and enter data.
- Oversee warehouse staff and work collaboratively with install team
