Your Impact The Warehouse Manager is a vital member of the Distribution Center Leadership. This role is responsible for Small parcel shipping, LTL shipping, receiving and inventory control. This role will develop and implement strategies for improving Key Performance Indicators including shrink, incident rates, overtime, inventory accuracy, and customer satisfaction. The Warehouse manager will be on member of the Safety Committee and Continuous Improvement Team. What You'll Do Manages sales order processing from start to finish. Communicates with Sales and customer service on Sales Order issues and resolutions. Manages inbound receiving process while focusing on maintaining or improving container receiving times. Controls inventory levels by managing a robust cycle count process. Complies with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling requirements. Complies with and enforces the company wide Safety Program. Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts to improve efficiency. Works with the On-Site Director to achieves financial objectives. Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees. Maintains warehouse staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees. Maintains warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Monitor, manage, and communicate key KPI’s across all phases of operations. This role reports to the on-site Director.

Requirements

  • Proven work experience managing outbound orders fulfillment
  • Proven work experience as a Warehouse Manager is a requirement
  • Inventory Control Management is required
  • Expertise in creating warehouse management procedures and best practices
  • Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases
  • Leadership skills and ability manage staff
  • Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
