The Warehouse Manager will plan, direct, or coordinate transportation, storage, or distribution activities in accordance with organizational policies and applicable government laws or regulations. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • 3+ years related work experience
  • Forklift Certified
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Competent in warehousing inventory control system

Responsibilities

  • Schedule or monitor pickup, delivery or distribution of products or materials.
  • Inspect physical conditions of warehouses, vehicle fleets, or equipment and order maintenance or repairs.
  • Plan, develop or implement warehouse safety and security programs and activities.
  • Review invoices, work orders or demand forecasts to estimate peak delivery periods and to issue work assignments.
  • Supervise the activities of workers engaged in receiving, storing, and shipping products or materials.
  • Train warehouse personnel.
  • Respond to customers' or shippers' questions and complaints regarding storage and distribution services.
  • Confer with branch personnel to coordinate warehouse activities.
