The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for managing the daily operations (Distribution/Production) of the Chino, CA Distribution Center, serving as the key on-site leader.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2 - 4 years of quality/supervisory/production experience
  • 2 – 4 years of continuous improvement experience
  • Experience leading improvement projects resulting in measured improvements to safety, quality, delivery, and cost
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and ability to understand all aspects of material transactions
  • Ability to interface and communicate professionally with all levels of management
  • Must be a results-oriented “change agent" who is an effective business systems thinker

Nice To Haves

  • Four-year college degree in Business or Industrial Engineering
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Battery industry knowledge
  • Knowledge and use of Supply Chain Logistic Concepts and SIPOC-R
  • Knowledge of SAP, BAAN

Responsibilities

  • Serve as key on-site leader for the Chino, CA Distribution Center
  • Manage, prioritize, and assign daily activities for the distribution center operation
  • Ensure production capacity is utilized effectively to meet the daily production schedule
  • Assure the site meets all safety standards
  • Implement and utilize the Enersys EOS system for continuous improvement
  • Create warehouse process mapping for production lines
  • Work collaboratively with Quality group regarding specific customer specifications
  • Define and document standard work process for all DC activities
  • Ensure company policies and procedures are being followed
  • Responsible for maintenance of facility and coordination of outside safety and environmental inspections
  • Process facility invoices and assist with DC budget plan
  • Responsible for inventory accuracy
  • Maintain and report Distribution CoE KPIs
  • Maintain timely employee performance reviews, administer coaching when needed
  • Ability to manage, motivate, and direct staff to meet production targets
