About The Position

You are a material moving and production master. You thrive in a team setting and want the team to succeed. What You Will Be Doing: Loads and unloads trucks, packs, and stacks product in appropriate areas. Utilizes a seated forklift to transport material safely throughout the plant. Ensures trucks are loaded according to DOT Safety Standards. Stages material daily prior to loading trucks; reads and attaches appropriate labels and tags to products. Wraps and boxes material with plastic wrap and cardboard to prevent damage to material. Transports aluminum or other materials from one position/location to another to expedite the production process. Cut material to size on a saw, per the work order. Follows work instructions by reading labels to expedite the production process; understands and communicates paperwork and labels/picking list. Utilizes a tape measure to ensure product is within the product specifications. Quality inspection, operating equipment, and/or manually maneuvering equipment.

Requirements

  • Prior warehouse and or manufacturing experience preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret basic mathematical measurements and effectively use a tape measure to measure product
  • Able to lift 75 lbs. throughout your shift as needed
  • Flexible work availability (typically Monday through Friday with occasional weekends)
