About The Position

This Warehouse Lead position works on-site in Olive Branch, MS Schedule: Monday-Friday Hours: 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Executes the day to day work activities as directed by the supervisor. Responsible for positively communicating the directions of the supervisor, while leading by example in work efforts to ensure the work flow remains consistent with business needs. Will work with team members to promote and identify safety and continuous improvement opportunities.

Requirements

High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience
1 - 2 years Warehouse Operations experience

Must have strong computer skills including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
Demonstrated ability to effectively organize and prioritize workload in a multi-task environment.
Must have strong verbal and written communication and the ability to effectively communicate with diverse groups of people.
Must have the ability to lead and supervise staff.

Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Supervisor, provide leadership to the team through effective communications, coaching, appraising, and recognizing. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Continuously promotes safety. (accident review and improvement opportunities)
Ensures that work is available for operators and completes tasks on time.
Directs flow of material, either inbound or outbound.
Gives direction to Forklift Operators or Warehouse Associates to move resources to available work.
Coordinates with fleet dispatch on schedule changes, cancellations, etc.
May cover in absence of Warehouse Supervisor when needed.
Perform other job-related duties and special projects as required.
