About The Position

The primary purpose of this the Warehouse Lead position is to oversee day-to-day branch operations and completion of daily tasks. You will provide product expertise and technical assistance to customers, perform duties related to inside sales, and a multitude of other duties to include warehouse functions. Product knowledge and technical understanding comes with time, and you'll have strong support from our crew, sales team and vendor reps to help you along the way. Requirements

  • 1 to 2 years of industry experience in tinting paint and counter sales
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to make informed decisions and handle customer interactions with professionalism
  • Maintaining confidentiality, exercising good judgment, and taking pride in your work
  • Physical demands include standing most of the day, lifting up to 50 lbs., and working with hazardous materials and fumes
  • Business-like appearance and computer proficiency
  • Clean driving record

Responsibilities

  • Lead department employees by fostering positive relationships to ensure effective and efficient job performance, including timely delivery, shipping, receiving, and order pick-up.
  • Manage transportation services, material handling, scheduling, and inventory tasks, ensuring proper packing, unpacking, and stocking of items across various storage areas.
  • Oversee the delivery process to guarantee accurate, complete, and on-time customer deliveries.
  • Enforce company policies related to customer service, shipping, purchasing, receiving, and pick-up to maintain smooth operations.
  • Delegate tasks related to inventory accuracy, cycle counts, showroom stocking, and inside sales, while assisting with credits, billing, and quoting prices.
  • Proactively engage with customers to promote products, provide technical assistance, and handle complaints or issues efficiently.
