Warehouse Lead - 1st Shift
About The Position
Key Benefits: Hourly Wage: $25.00 Shift Hours: 6am-2 and 8am- 4 rotating every 3rd week (must be flexible) Full-time position, with benefit package (medical, dental, and vision insurance) $1,000 Referral Bonus Responsibilities: Lead and direct warehouse associates in daily operations, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely. Serve as a “go-to” associate for all training within the warehouse; ensures that all warehouse associates have the tools and understanding to succeed in their positions. Operate sit-down and stand-up electric forklifts and power or manual pallet jacks and other warehouse machinery in accordance with all safety policies and procedures. Safely load and unload products from semi-trailers, completing all necessary documentation to ensure accurate system transactions and adherence to Food Safety protocols Conduct thorough inspections of products for defects or damage and check both internal and external trailer conditions for any issues that could compromise the safety of the loaded contents. Stage and transport raw materials for production, as well as prepare and verify orders for shipment by reviewing supporting documentation. Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory rotation practices to maintain the highest quality of ingredients. Utilize ERP/Warehouse software to perform job-related tasks, demonstrating a willingness to learn and optimize software use for improved efficiency. Enforce adherence to all GMP, SOP, HACCP, and SQF rules within the warehouse. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by performing general housekeeping tasks in the warehouse, dock areas, coolers, and freezers, ensuring areas are stocked and orderly Qualifications: Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership or supervisory role. Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures, inventory management, and logistics operations. Must be able to work with computer and databases Basic knowledge of warehouse management software or other relevant systems. Food manufacturing experience desired Machine operating experience desired Must be at least 18 years or older
