About The Position

As a member of the Warehouse Operations team, the Team Lead supports daily execution by removing operational roadblocks, reinforcing standard work, and helping the team meet performance targets across Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Productivity. This role partners closely with Supervisors and Managers and serves as a point of guidance and support for hourly team members. The Team Lead primarily supports the Spirit Shop operation, which is RF-driven and deadline-sensitive, with cross-training opportunities to support the Fashion operation as business needs evolve.

Requirements

  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills with the ability to lead through influence and example
  • Ability to understand department metrics and how daily actions impact performance
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, RF-driven warehouse environment
  • Proficient with basic computer applications and web-based tools (Microsoft Office, Excel, Monday.com, internet navigation)
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work varying shifts, including overtime during peak seasons
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 2-3 years of experience in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment preferred
  • Prior experience in a lead, senior associate, or informal leadership role preferred
  • Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 10+ hours per day)
  • Ability to lift 15-50 lbs. regularly from floor to waist level
  • Repetitive movement of hands, arms, and body on a regular basis
  • Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment

Responsibilities

  • Promote a safe, inclusive, and positive work environment aligned with Lean and continuous improvement principles
  • Support daily execution by communicating priorities, monitoring workflow, and responding tactically to operational needs, including labor shifting and task prioritization, as directed by leadership
  • Reinforce departmental SOPs and utilize RF systems and operational tools to support real-time execution and issue resolution
  • Partner with Supervisors to support training needs, address minor team issues, and escalate larger concerns as appropriate
  • Navigate web-based platforms, including Monday.com, to review tasks, updates, and operational commitments
  • Support Spirit Shop logistics requirements, including awareness of service delivery timelines, event deadlines, and transit considerations
  • Encourage continuous improvement by identifying inefficiencies and soliciting team feedback
  • Support peak operational periods, including Events (December–January) and Camp season (mid-year), with flexibility for overtime as required
  • Cross-train to support the Fashion operation as needed once established in Spirit Shop workflows
