About The Position

The primary function of the Warehouse Lead is to oversee distribution processes, assist customers and suppliers, manage and supervise employees, and ensure that safety regulations are met. Duties & Responsibilities Assists and leads assigned activities associated with warehouse operations. Responsible for managing the process of receiving, stocking, and quality control of all merchandise. Oversee and coordinate maintenance of equipment. Monitors performance and productivity to maximize operation excellence, which includes service, quality, and cost control. Maintain health and safety compliance in accordance with company policy. Responsible for organizing, planning, coordinating, facilitating, and managing all aspects of physical inventory and storage area. Assist with determining staffing levels and assigning workload; include training of warehouse staff. Maintain inventory controls through minimizing materials damage and ensuring order accuracy. The base salary for this position typically falls within the range of $19.00 to $25.00 per hour. Starting wage may vary based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position being offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. SRS Distribution offers additional competitive and non-financial benefits. Hourly associates may be eligible for overtime based on business needs. Depending on the role, associates may also be eligible for performance-based bonus programs, commissions, car allowance or automobile and fuel program, and reimbursement for travel expenses in accordance with company travel policy. Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of construction industry and building materials.
  • 1-3 years of experience or more is preferred.
