About The Position

Looking for a Cool Job in a fast-paced environment with a dynamic team representing the industry leader in HVAC equipment? The Warehouse Lead is responsible for materials management, inventory control and shipping/receiving at one of our established wholesale HVAC distributorships that carries multiple brands of equipment, parts and supplies. The ultimate goal of this role is to successfully manage the daily operations of all facets of the Warehouse.

Requirements

Minimum 1-2 years Warehouse operational experience, preferably within the HVAC industry and product lines associated with HVAC, preferably in the operations of a wholesale HVAC equipment supply house.
Proficiency in air conditioning, heating and ventilation equipment at a wholesale distribution level preferred
Proven success in purchasing and inventory management.
Proven success in managing and mentoring other employees.
Must possess the attitude of wanting to learn and grow with our Company.
Mechanical or Technical background.
Proficient in Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

Direct activities of the Warehouse.
Serve as the primary lead for all pick-up, shipping and receiving activities.
Insure customer service and service areas are maintained to the highest levels for all pick-up and delivery activities.
Ensure Company vehicles and equipment are maintained on a regular basis according to manufacturer specifications.
Direct and participate in the bin location maintenance of all areas of the Facility.
Train and manage warehouse personnel, including those in receiving/shipping, delivery, and fleet driver roles.
Communicate and train Warehouse personnel on Company policies and procedures regarding the safe and proper movement/handling of any product.
Ensure proper training of personnel handling Company inventory to be in the most professional manner and to minimize damages and losses; training inclusive of forklift, appliance lift and Driver training.
As directed by Sales Center Manager, responsible for inventory management.
Perform other duties as assigned.
