About The Position

Johnson Brothers is seeking a dependable and motivated Warehouse Lead to support our warehouse operations. In this hands-on leadership role, you will help train new team members, support daily workflow, and ensure accuracy, safety, and productivity across the shift.

Requirements

1-2 years of warehouse experience; prior lead or trainer experience a plus.
Strong communication skills and the ability to lead through teamwork and influence.
Ability to safely lift 40-60 lbs repeatedly and work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to operate scanning devices and warehouse equipment.

Responsibilities

Assist the Warehouse Manager in directing daily warehouse activities including loading, unloading, order selection, and replenishment.
Train and onboard new hires; reinforce SOPs, work rules, and safety guidelines.
Certify employees on pallet jack, reach trucks, forklift, stock pickers and other warehouse equipment
Support and motivate team members to meet productivity and accuracy goals.
Use warehouse management systems to locate product and maintain inventory accuracy.
Review orders for completeness and accuracy before shipment.
Safely operate manual and powered equipment; perform equipment inspections.
Process will call and direct bill orders and receive point-of-sale orders.
Inspect inbound deliveries and verify accuracy against purchase orders and invoices.
Assist with claims, returns, and coordination with Purchasing, AP, and carriers.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment.
