About The Position

As instructed by the Supervisor, the Group Lead will assist in executing the daily activities involved with the daily demand. The Group Lead will be responsible for the day to day work load and activity for all of the warehouses Inbound and Outbound shipments.

Requirements

High School Diploma
2 years experience in a Lead or Supervisory role working in a Distribution Center.
Experience in manufacturing and warehousing
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Receives daily instructions from Supervisor at the beginning of shift to meet daily goals
Assigns priority level to orders to ensure deadlines are met.
Manages daily Agenda and confirms no other shipments have been added, if there are additions must inform supervisor and plan to include additions into the projected day.
Ensures that all shipments meet the quality expectations and load requirements to secure arrival to all destinations.
Must spend time on shop floor and monitor daily productivity.
Monitors and Communicates closely with supervisor to confirm orders and shipments are meeting the daily appointments, before operational failures (shipping schedule, order picking)
Reports and Emails Customer Service of all Shortages affecting the shipments for the day
Oversees and Monitors order priority and timeliness of TSP operators and TSP support operators to ensure compliance with shipping schedule.
Oversees and monitors daily input of operators on Shipping and Receiving monitors that are used to track time standards
Performs the clerical functions supporting shipping, receiving, and warehousing operations critical to the daily requirements
Works in a team environment with clerks and all warehouse employees and any other pertinent personnel.
