We’re a family-owned company built on hard work, teamwork, and integrity — and we’re looking for an Inventory Specialist to join our growing team. The Inventory Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels and supporting efficient warehouse operations for Iowa80.com. This position works closely with Management and the Outbound and Inbound teams to ensure all products are accounted for, organized, and readily available to meet customer demand.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred
  • 1–3 years of experience in inventory control, warehousing, or a related field
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Experience using inventory management or ERP software preferred
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and data entry
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to drive forklifts and operate other heavy equipment; training will be provided
  • Employment for this role is contingent upon successful completion of a background check, a pre-employment drug screening in accordance with company policy and applicable law (including testing for substances that may impair job performance), and a CRT physical, as required for the position . Iowa 80 also conducts random drug testing for employees.
  • This is an on-site position and not remote.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate inventory counts through regular cycle counts and audits.
  • Record, track, and adjust inventory levels in company systems
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies or errors.
  • Collaborate with Outbound and Inbound departments to ensure stock accuracy.
  • Support process improvements related to inventory control and product flow
  • Train in as well as assist other functional areas of the Distribution Center when needed
