About The Position

Ryder is hiring an Inventory Clerk in Newnan, Georgia. This role offers weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a fulfilling career. The position is for a Second Shift, Monday-Friday, from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with an hourly pay of $21.50, plus an additional $0.50 per hour when assigned to the Second Shift. The successful candidate will work with state-of-the-art equipment in a safe warehouse environment, handling food products. Various warehouse fulfillment specialist roles at Ryder support distribution across the US. Requirements

  • Ability to recognize and read location, date and product codes
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
  • Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment
  • Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills
  • Detail oriented with excellent follow up practices
  • Depending on location may be required to be equipment certified

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or equivalent perferred
  • One (1) year or more previous warehouse experience preferred
  • One (1) year or more experience operating forklift equipment preferred
  • One (1) year or more Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) preferred

Responsibilities

  • Conduct cycle counts and inventory audits.
  • Conduct audits of inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Participate in physical inventories as necessary.
  • Provide floor support to Operation Supervisors and hourly associates regarding inventory issues.
  • Resolve inventory discrepancies as needed.
  • Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) with emphasis on safety.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy to meet client demands
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
