About The Position

The Inventory Associate will be responsible for all activities relating to inventory management and control in our main distribution center. This role involves hands-on work, including special inventory projects, and requires direct collaboration with the Inventory Supervisor and others to minimize material 'can’t finds' and ensure the accuracy and integrity of inventory.

Requirements

• Ability to use NEFCO’s ERP software system
• Basic computer skills
• Must have a positive, hard-working attitude
• Ability to establish priorities, work independently and little supervision
• Ability to multitask
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to stand on concrete floor for long periods of time
• Must be able to work in various climate conditions such as cold, heat, humidity for a long period of time
• Ability to crouch, stoop, kneel, crawl and twist for lifting
• Ability to safely lift up to 70 lbs.
• Ability to review and interpret computer images and written documents
• Analytical ability including basic math skills
• High school diploma (or equivalent)

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, or Outlook a plus
