About The Position

TITLE: Warehouse Inventory Associate LOCATION: Houston, TX POSITION REPORTS TO: Distribution Center Manager, Operations SCHEDULE: Hours TBD by manager. Nights, weekends and overtime periodically. COMPENSATION: Commensurate with experience, position and location

Requirements

Must have warehouse inventory related experience
Must be local (live within 60 miles)
Advanced mathematical skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent organizational and analytical skills
High attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including spelling and grammar
Valid driver’s license, and a good driving record
Courteous and professional demeanor
Ability to lift heavy objects (minimum 15 lbs.)
Must be able to work overtime, nights, weekends
Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions

Nice To Haves

SAP Experience
Experience in the Oil and Gas industry
1 year inventory experience

Responsibilities

Perform physical inventory cycle counts
Responsible for validating incoming goods and recording documentation
Inspect, verify, and organize stock throughout the warehouse
Keep data integrity organized and updated
Maintain a safe work environment in accordance with established safety procedures and practices
Investigate cycle count variances and resolve issues
Responsible for recording and tracking all documents relating to the physical inventories
Report on variances and their root causes, focusing on process improvement
Responsible for tank inventory and yard trailer inventory; daily reconciliation
Data entry; manual inventory counts into SAP
Communicate with terminals, hubs, supply chain and internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies
Analyze and record gains, losses
Provide support for yearly audit
Other tasks as assigned by manager
