About The Position

As a Box Sorter, you will be responsible for manually processing and sorting boxes to meet PLA's quality standards and production goals. This role involves breaking down, inspecting, stickering, and palletizing boxes. Responsibilities

  • Breaking down boxes that are not received in a broken-down state.
  • Inspecting boxes for damage and assessing their suitability for reuse.
  • Stickering boxes acceptable for reuse by covering their barcodes.
  • Palletizing sorted boxes efficiently by size.
  • Meeting or exceeding daily production requirements, with a standard expectation of at least one pallet per hour.
  • Maintaining a clean and orderly work area throughout the shift.
  • Complying with all PLA policies and procedures, as well as federal and state safety rules.
  • Assisting with other duties as assigned to support and improve overall team operations.
