About The Position

SERVPRO® of Southaven is looking for a Warehouse Foreman to join our team of professionals and undertake a variety of restoration duties. The suitable candidate needs to have strong communication skills, ability to work in, and help people through, challenging situations, and be customer service oriented as our main task each day is to assist customers, who may be experiencing a flood of emotions, and are depending on us to turn back the tide of uncertainty. Our cleaning team mobilizes homes or businesses that need to be packed and moved out so that restoration can begin. The packed content is then brought to our warehouse where it will be cleaned, deodorized, and stored until the restoration process is complete. The team also mobilizes to clean structures that have experienced fire, water, or mold damage. They also perform general and routine cleanings.

Requirements

Valid driver's license
1-3 years pack out, moving, warehouse experience preferred
Experience driving/pulling a trailer preferred
Effective oral communication
Detail oriented with an emphasis on organization
Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance
Walking and standing for long periods of time, driving, sitting, climbing
Ability to climb ladders and work at ceiling heights
Ability to work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics)
Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects
Ability to work with/around cleaning agents

Nice To Haves

1-3 years pack out, moving, warehouse experience preferred
Experience driving/pulling a trailer preferred

Responsibilities

Pack, wrap, load, unload goods at original location
Ensure items are moved to and from the warehouse in a safe, efficient, timely and professional manner
Inventory all items
Perform proper cleaning of items if needed
Be flexible and be willing to complete all tasks assigned
Be a team player with excellent customer service skills
Bring a positive “can-do” attitude to work each day
