Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Drivers license and valid medical card, Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), Class C
- Ability to push and pull equipment weighing 250 lbs.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- 1 – 2 years’ experience in Route Delivery; Equipment Delivery preferred
- Meet the standard requirements of the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) Federal Highway Administration
- You must have a safe driving record, follow all state and national driving laws, rules and regulations
- Ability to pass a Physical Capacity Test
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Delivers and picks up Freezer equipment on assigned delivery runs.
- Able to read standard road maps or ability to operate a GPS to determine driving directions.
- Accurately complete driver log sheets/electronic, delivery receipts and any other required documentation and assists with truck routing and directions.
- Uses basic hand tools as required to facilitate installation and removal of equipment.
- Assists in housekeeping of truck and related work areas.
- Other duties as required, including:
- Install and remove freezer equipment
- Use necessary safety equipment, provided by the company, for the safety of yourself and others
- Follow proper safety techniques, such as proper lifting techniques to repetitively pick-up product and frequent reaching to stock product
- Perform utility worker duties when in warehouse
- Operate forklift and pallet jack
- Safely lift items up to 50 pounds
- Drive and walk frequently through the day and for long periods of time
- Push and pull frequently, with bending and twisting
