About The Position

Position Summary: The Warehouse & Delivery Coordinator is responsible for managing daily warehouse operations and the pickup and delivery of project-specific construction materials to and from various jobsites. This role includes receiving, organizing, staging, loading, unloading, and transporting materials, as well as ensuring the Houston office/warehouse is opened and secured each day.

Requirements

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Personal truck required; vehicle allowance provided
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated judgment and decision-making ability.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to follow instructions from supervisors.
  • Valid Driver’s License and adequate driving record for insurability is required.
  • At least one (1) year of relevant experience in construction, warehouse, or delivery operations is preferred.
  • Must be able to lift up to 80 pounds.
  • Regularly required to walk, climb stairs, and climb ladders, including when delivering materials into occupied or unoccupied units.
  • May also assist with moving appliances (e.g., refrigerators, ranges, washers/dryers) as needed.
  • Frequent use of hands and arms to reach, handle, and lift materials.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively and perform duties in a fast-paced environment.
  • Requires strong attention to detail, time management, and the ability to handle multiple priorities.

Nice To Haves

  • High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Open and secure the Houston office/warehouse on a daily basis.
  • Receive, verify, stage, and stock all incoming materials and deliveries.
  • Document and report discrepancies, damages, or shortages; coordinate with vendors and internal teams to resolve issues promptly.
  • Maintain organization, cleanliness, and safety of warehouse and storage areas.
  • Pull, stage, and prepare materials and tools for upcoming jobs.
  • Coordinate delivery schedules with field teams and vendors.
  • Pick up and deliver materials, tools, and supplies to various jobsites.
  • Load and unload materials safely and efficiently.
  • Track inventory levels and notify management of shortages or material needs.
  • Assist field teams with material handling and jobsite support as needed.
  • Return damaged or incorrect materials for proper processing.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
