About The Position

The Warehouse Crew Leader reports to the Warehouse Shipping Supervisor and aids in the coordination, documentation, and daily function of warehouse duties. Perform various duties to ship finished goods, materials, supplies throughout the plant and to customers. Perform various duties to receive raw materials, supplies, distribute throughout the plant.

  • Proficient computer skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Proficient in SAP
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • At least 5 years of shipping/receiving experience in a manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

  • Work from verbal & written instructions, schedules, shipping forms to transport materials from docks to production & storage areas
  • Perform various duties to ship & move materials, supplies & finished goods to customers & throughout the plant
  • Maintain shipment deliveries in SAP and report billing to Customer Service daily
  • Maintain production film needed for Press 3
  • Create customer invoices for international shipments according to local and destination regulations
  • Adjust and track product placement according to customer needs
  • Receive raw materials and store in proper locations
  • Prepare custom labels for each shipment according to the customer order pick list. Attach packing list to last pallet of shipment
  • Read & check shipping documents & verify products & quantity
  • Identify & store all finished goods for inventory prior to shipping
  • Identify all received material stored in the receiving area with the appropriate status stickers
  • Write &maintain logs, records, forms & reports related to safety procedures and outgoing shipments in a timely manner
  • Coordinate with customers and the supply chain partners to finalize and execute delivery details according to shipping schedules
  • Knowledge & training of Shipping/Receiving duties for back up including off-site warehouse duties
  • Fill in at Shipping & receiving department in the absence of Shipping supervisor
  • Work with outside vendors as needed relating to forklift maintenance and waste management
  • Maintain a neat, orderly & safe work area
  • Observe all company rules, regulations & SOP’s including housekeeping, safety, quality of work & protective equipment
  • Train & assist others as needed
  • Document & report all mechanical & safety concerns
  • Report any & all task difficulties to supervisor or appropriate personnel
  • Follow all regulations regarding safe forklift driving practices
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Available OT/weekends as needed
