About The Position

Subsidiary Steel Dynamics Overview Unloading trucks, tracking deliveries, pulling Parts, issuing parts, receiving, cycle counting, and tracking warehouse inventory. Responsibilities Staff the warehouse counter Accept deliveries, check in products/place into proper stocking locations Pick parts, issue parts to appropriate departments Perform cycle count Assist employees and contractors as “customers.” Investigate discrepancies. Operate crane and forklift. Vacation coverage for coworkers (Rotating and Day shift). Job will entail other misc. tasks.

Requirements

• Experience with mobile equipment.
• A strong focus on safety.
• Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong multitasking skills.
• Self-starter.
• Must be physically able to lift heavy parts.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of CMMS inventory systems, Excel, and Outlook software.
• Crane and/or Forklift certified.
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and/or welding replacement parts helpful.
