DuPont is offering a Warehouse Coordinator position at its Joliet Styrofoam Plant in Channahon, IL. This role is responsible for administering raw material, intermediates, and finished warehouse inventory, including processing, packaging, and storage. Key duties involve accounting for all materials, auditing goods received, overseeing receipt, storage, and shipment, and preparing related reports. The coordinator will also ensure effective operating procedures, space utilization, and facility maintenance, conduct physical inventory counts, and verify shipment quantities. The position requires performing general warehouse operations, moving and storing materials using equipment like forklifts, and working within established procedures. A high level of computer literacy, including advanced programs like SAP, is essential, along with reviewing and updating procedures and troubleshooting guides. The role also involves participating in plant teams, communicating via various channels, and coordinating railcar arrivals and departures.

Requirements

  • High School diploma required
  • 1 year of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with Shipping and Receiving.
  • Self-starter to identify, prioritize, and accomplish multiple tasks.
  • Strong Interpersonal, Facilitative, and Organizational skills.
  • Able to communicate effectively and in a timely manner to all levels within the organization.
  • Ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficient in SAP
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • Experience in a Manufacturing environment, inventory management, fork truck driving

Responsibilities

  • Administers raw material, intermediates, and finished warehouse inventory, including processing, packaging and storage of supplies, materials and equipment.
  • Accounts for all materials and supplies in the warehouse & audits goods received into the warehouses.
  • Oversees receipt, storage and shipment of materials, and related reporting in accordance with established procedures.
  • Prepares and coordinates shipping and receiving materials to control the flow of goods and regulate warehouse space.
  • Ensures the effectiveness of operating procedures, space utilization, and maintenance and protection of facilities and equipment.
  • Ensures that inventories are secure, properly identified and readily accessible to authorized personnel.
  • Conducts physical inventory counts including cycle counting and reconciles results with inventory records.
  • Ensures that quantities of incoming and outgoing shipments are correct.
  • Performs warehouse operations duties including moving, storing, labeling, supplies, and equipment.
  • Uses equipment such as fork-lifts, storage equipment to move and store materials.
  • Works within established procedures and guidelines with limited ability to modify methods and approach.
  • Has skills developed through work experience or formal training and a high level of computer literacy, including advanced programs such as SAP.
  • Reviews and updates procedures, develops and updates troubleshooting guides and process control troubleshooting information guides.
  • Takes appropriate action and knows when to involve others to reach a positive outcome
  • Uses the appropriate computer tools (examples: SAP, Logbook, Outlook, Excel) to reach a desired outcome
  • Participant on various plant teams
  • Communications via email, phone call, Teams Chat, and in person in meetings
  • Coordinate railcar arrival and departures of raw materials, and processes heal credits
