About The Position

This role is responsible for conducting warehouse and fleet operations for H2O America. They assist with product handling & storage, inventory management, and layout planning. This role maintains warehouse and vehicle standards through inspections and coordination of repairs and replacements. They maintain compliance and ensure operational excellence through strong mechanical expertise, communication skills, and organizational skills. Based on regional differences and the business needs of the company, responsibilities and percentage of time served performing different tasks may be different from employee to employee. The general responsibilities are listed below, and the day-to-day focus is based on the discretion of the Superintendent.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED and/or 6 months of relevant professional experience.
  • Valid Driver’s License with acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.
  • Holds relevant certifications required for the team’s need or directed by management.
  • Proven mechanical abilities.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to participate in physical activities including lifting, bending, squatting, reaching, kneeling, climbing, and working in awkward positions, as well as using heavy weight tools and materials.

Nice To Haves

  • Valid CDL License preferred.
  • Holds valid forklift license or must be obtained within reasonable timeframe as determined by management.
  • Customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assists warehouse operations by executing product handling and storage requirements.
  • Executes processes for receiving product, equipment utilization, and inventory management.
  • Assists in inventory reconciliation and material receipt processing. Follows purchase order procedures to ensure accurate tracking and documentation.
  • Checks materials received against purchase orders and alerts management of any damage or other irregularities.
  • Assists in issuing and marking materials for other departments (incl. Operations, distribution, maintenance). Ensures proper documentation.
  • Assists in uniform issuance, cleaning/returns, and disbursement to field personnel.
  • Maintains physical condition of warehouse and fleet vehicles by inspecting equipment, maintaining cleanliness in compliance with standards, and assisting in issuance of work orders for repair and requisitions for replacements.
  • Transports fleet vehicles to dealership or repair garages and delivers parts to field crews as needed.
  • Manages fleet registration, inspections, and renewals to ensure compliance.
  • Assists with small repairs and deliveries to company facilities.
  • Ensures GPS united on fleet vehicles and equipment are current and functioning.
  • Strives for operational excellence and makes recommendations on process improvements.
  • Organizes warehouse to ensure compliance with all materials (incl. chemicals) that are stored in the facilities.
  • Assists in maintaining documentation of logging and tracking of large tools being sent to and from the job site and log any needed repairs.
  • Works on weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Adheres to learning, following and ensuring compliance with all company safety rules. This includes rules and regulations in the Company Safety Manual, OSHA regulations and other state, federal, or governing body’s rules and regulations.
  • Performs other duties as required or assigned.
