About The Position

Join a leading electrical contractor as a Warehouse Coordinator, where you’ll play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly. In this position, you’ll oversee the receipt, organization, and distribution of tools, materials, and equipment while ensuring accuracy and efficiency across all warehouse activities. You’ll be responsible for maintaining organized inventory, supporting field teams with timely dispatches, and upholding strong inventory control processes. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Working knowledge of heavy equipment, trailers, warehousing equipment, and vehicles.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications and the ability to learn new software systems as required.
  • Local to York, Pennsylvania but with regular travel to other offices, customer facilities, jobsites and yard locations for offsite meetings.
  • A “can-do” attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to collaborate effectively with various teams.
  • Driving record free of moving violations, accidents and have the ability to drive company vehicles safely.

Nice To Haves

  • Valid CDL is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Generate and manage requests for tools, materials, and equipment.
  • Utilize the ERP accounting system to process purchase orders, track inventory, and manage sales and rental items.
  • Procure tools and consumables in alignment with project requirements and budget guidelines.
  • Manage stock control, including procurement, receipt, storage, retrieval, and timely delivery of supplies.
  • Assist in sourcing, selecting, and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities while ensuring materials are delivered on time to meet project deadlines.
  • Coordinate shipment loading and transfers, including accurate documentation and data entry.
  • Maintain responsibility for the security of the warehouse facility and inventory.
  • Conduct regular audits of all equipment at the assigned location.
  • Coordinate equipment moves as directed by the Warehouse Manager.
  • Perform scheduled and emergency deliveries of tools and materials to support field operations.
  • Support emergency-driven crew assignments to ensure timely response to operational needs.
  • Align warehouse resources and activities with departmental and company objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with all warehouse, logistics, safety, and quality standards.
  • Promote a safe, efficient, and high-performing warehouse team environment.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and surrounding areas.
