About The Position

The Warehouse Coordinator position is responsible for overseeing the daily warehouse operations, establishing an efficient flow of products, maintaining inventory accuracy, providing guidance to warehouse associates, and ensuring the safe functioning of the warehouse facility. This position is to focus on fostering a team-centric environment to boost morale and engagement, aiding team members in performing their job effectively, while also providing coaching for improvement. This position is expected to be a team player and work with all other departments at Renewal by Andersen of CNY to meet company goals and initiatives.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet established deadlines.
  • Available to work extended hours, especially during peak seasons.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a supervisory role.
  • Experience handling full life cycle flow of home Improvement product installation/service highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates, and oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, shipping, and quality assurance of products.
  • Ensure safe and compliant warehouse operations, including effective use of warehouse equipment like Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT).
  • Provide guidance and training to warehouse associates.
  • Prioritize workload to ensure timely completion of orders and other warehouse tasks.
  • Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
  • Maintain documentation and accurate records of inventory and products, including damaged or defective items, as well as discrepancies in quantities.
  • Control inventory levels by conducting physical counts and reconciling them with data storage systems.
  • Inspect equipment, facilities, and tools regularly to identify maintenance needs.
  • Ensure the safety, cleanliness, and security of the warehouse work environment.
  • Authorize and monitor warehouse entry for subcontractors, vendors, and delivery personnel, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, verifying identities, and confirming the loading of approved products/materials as per contracts and work orders.
  • Achieve successful warehouse operations by contributing recommendations and following established policies.
  • Develop warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage methods.
  • Operate and maintain PIT certification to operate a sit-down forklift truck and other material handling equipment.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Warehouse Manager on purchase orders to ensure proper documentation and approval for the accounting department.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement within the warehouse team.
  • Other duties as assigned.
