About The Position

The Warehouse Coordinator plays a key role in the daily operations of our store’s warehouse. This individual is responsible for organizing inventory, overseeing incoming and outgoing donations (including vendor-donated new materials), and maintaining a clean, efficient, and safe warehouse space. Requirements

  • Valid Driver’s license and experience driving Non-CDL commercial trucks
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous warehouse, inventory, or retail experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Basic computer skills for inventory tracking
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
  • Must be dependable, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Minimum three years work experience, preferably one year in a management role.

Nice To Haves

  • Forklift certification a plus
  • Prior experience Retail a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and sort incoming furniture donations and new materials from vendors.
  • Coordinate and track inventory, ensuring accurate record-keeping of incoming and outgoing items.
  • Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse, showroom staging areas, and loading docks.
  • Assist with loading and unloading furniture and materials using appropriate equipment and techniques.
  • Collaborate with store staff to move merchandise to the sales floor as needed.
  • Schedule and coordinate deliveries when applicable.
  • Perform commercial and residential donation pick ups.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and donors to support ongoing donations.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures for warehouse operations.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and communicate discrepancies or low stock items.
  • Assist customers and donors in a friendly and helpful manner when interacting on-site.
